Denver Bronco and Danville native, Trent Sherfield Donates $10,000 to Danville High School Football, Raises $96,000 for Local Training Center Initiative

NFL wide receiver Trent Sherfield, a proud Danville native, continues to give back to his hometown through his Diamonds Amongst the Rough Foundation. Last week, Sherfield donated $10,000 to the Danville High School Football team, supporting the next generation of athletes where his own journey began.

 

The generous donation was part of a larger fundraising effort held May 24, where Sherfield hosted a celebrity basketball game and Gala to benefit the foundation’s ambitious goal of building a state-of-the-art training center in Danville. Thanks to overwhelming community support and participation, the events raised an incredible $96,000.
