In additon to AVID, South View Upper Elementary is a PBIS school(Positive Behavioral Intervention & Supports).  You will often see AVID and PBIS used together in much of our curriculum.  Along with our PBIS program, we teach Social Emotion Learning using the Second Step program and follow the 7 Healthy Habits of Kids. Our staff has gone through rigorous training to ensure the safety and climate of our school is both positive and inspiring. Throughout the year, look for exciting things to come out of our PBIS program!
