Camp Invention:
Attention D118 Parents of K-5th Students Camp Invention 2022 will be held June 13 to June 17 at Northeast Elementary School. Camp runs each day from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The camp is free for 125 D118 students and is funded by the Army Education Outreach Program. DACC College for Kids:
Danville Area Community College has their annual College for Kids opportunities listed and available for registration. There are scholarship opportunities available for Danville District 118 students interested in registering. East Central Illinois Community Action Agency - Summer Scholars Program:
East Central Illinois Community Action Agency will be hosting a summer scholars program. This summer camp is for first graders to incoming seniors. These students must be Danville District 118 students. Program dates are June 13th-July 28th. Times are 9:00 AM - 12:00 Noon, Monday-Thursday. Tutoring will be available for the following subjects: Math, Phonics, Reading & Comprehension, and Hand-Writing skills building. Location is 56 North Vermilion, Danville, IL 61832. EIU College of Education Summer Program
To: Parents of 2022/2023 Seniors:
District 118 is excited about an opportunity for our rising minority seniors who are interested in teaching. Eastern Illinois University is hosting a 3-week enrichment program from June 13-July 1, 2022 for students who are interested in becoming teachers. They will earn real college credits, stay in the dorms, and work with professors and students from all over Illinois. Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at 6:30 PM is a virtual zoom parent informational meeting for anyone interested.

Fine Arts Summer Camp:
Attention D118 Parents of Kindergarten-Grade 6 students!
Join us for our first ever Fine Arts Summer Camp during the week of July 11-15 at North Ridge Middle School. Camp runs each day from 8:30 AM-1:00 PM. Transportation is available. Breakfast and lunch are served. Students will spend the week exploring the Fine Arts through classes and activities in Art, Music, Drama, Movement, SEL, Team Building, and performances by various guest artists! Spaces are limited so reserve your spot early. Students will be able to get paper applications from their school’s art or music teacher, or you can apply online on our Camp website by going to the following link or scanning the QR code on any camp poster. Students who are chosen to attend will be contacted after the application deadline closes on May 1st. U of I Summer Program:
Danville School District 118 is excited to offer additional residential/virtual University of Illinois Summer Camps to our Danville High School incoming sophomores, juniors and seniors. These booklets were mailed out to students on Friday, April 15. We would love to see many of our Danville High School students apply and take advantage of this learning experience.
