Monday Danville High kicked off Spirit Week with the presentation of the Homecoming Court and the crowning of the Homecoming King and Queen. To thank Ms Cherry for her years of service to Danville District 118 and her last Homecoming as Principal of Danville High, Student Council crowned her the Queen of Hearts and the Mistress of Ceremonies for our 2022 Homecoming Week.

"I was very excited and grateful to the Student Council and my DHS students and staff for thinking of me and honoring me in this way. I am very blessed to be the Principal of Danville High School, but I am very proud to oversee the homecoming festivities for the 2022 year. We have a wonderful representation of students from each class and our homecoming sponsors Ms. Woods and Mrs. Leverenz have done an outstanding job. Finally, Congratulations to our homecoming King and Queen. I love my DHS Family!"
