Some elementary students simply need more time to master a skill or concept - more time receiving direct instruction from the teacher and more time to spend practicing the strategies and concepts learned. The Extended Day Program provides students with additional opportunities to learn the skills, content and strategies necessary to meet the Illinois Learning Standards.
